Our Mission
To fund and provide scholarships for Learners attending Accelerated Learning Academy; an inclusive learning environment that builds a caring community for neurotypical and neurodiverse Learners. Accelerated Learning Academy was born out of a passion and commitment to providing rigorous comprehensive education to all learners; where labels do not define a child, but instead, the core belief that all children can learn given supportive, well-trained staff delivering strong evidence-based curriculum is the norm.
Accelerated Learning Academy
Accelerated Learning Clinic (ALC) originally opened as a clinic-based option serving children with autism spectrum disorders in a safe therapeutic environment, based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. In 2016, ALC began developing model classrooms with the future goal of launching Accelerated Learning Academy. As the only academy in Southern Nevada dedicated to providing a multidisciplinary approach to education with behavioral services, parent/caregiver training, and auxiliary therapies for those with autism-related disorders, ALA strives to be the gold standard of for inclusive education in Southern Nevada.
As a private-education alternative, the Accelerated Learning Academy focuses on skill mastery rather than grades and is an educational opportunity for both neurodiverse and neurotypical Learners. At ALA we believe every learner is capable of high achievement and that diversity adds value. Accelerated Learning Academy works with learners, their families, and our community to provide a safe, accelerated, evidence-based education rooted in kindness and collaboration. We know every child is capable of success. Offering class sizes of up to ten Learners per class, the vision of the Accelerated Learning Academy is to become the gold standard for inclusive learning in Southern Nevada.
